Odaily Planet Daily News According to official news, Bahamut recently launched its L2 network Caucasus to improve scalability and serve as a game-oriented blockchain. The main goal of Caucasus is to provide higher transaction speed, scalability, and cost efficiency by sharing the burden with the Bahamut mainnet. It will reduce transaction fees (gas fees) and speed up transaction times during high network activity by speeding up transaction delays by 6 times, increasing throughput by 12 times, and providing a 2-second time frame for block creation instead of the 12-second range in L1. As L2 on top of the Bahamut mainnet, Caucasus will host more decentralized games and other protocols, helping to strengthen the network and gain additional incentives for operating nodes.
