Odaily Planet Daily News Palantir's Joe Lonsdale and cryptocurrency billionaires Cameron Winklevoss and Tyler Winklevoss are major donors to a super PAC supporting Donald Trump that is also backed by Elon Musk. According to its most recent filing with the Federal Election Commission, America PAC raised $8.8 million in the second quarter, spent $7.8 million, and held just under $1 million in cash in early July. Musk did not donate until July, so he was not included in the report, which covers donations from the committee's inception on May 22 to the end of June, according to a person familiar with the matter. The billionaire posted a post on the X platform in support of Trump after the former president was injured while speaking at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night. Lonsdale donated $1 million through his company, Lonsdale Enterprises Inc. The Winklevoss brothers each donated $250,000. Other donors included Joe Craft, CEO of Alliance Resource Partners, who gave $1 million. His wife, Kelly Craft, served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations during the Trump administration. The donations show that Trump's support is growing among big donors in the technology and financial sectors. (Bloomberg)
