Trump has appointed Ohio Senator J.D. Vance as the Republican vice presidential candidate. Vance, a former venture capitalist and one of the lawmakers who supports cryptocurrency, disclosed in his annual report filed last year that as of 2022, he owned between $100,001 and $250,000 worth of Bitcoin. He holds these Bitcoins through Coinbase.
