In the wake of the failed attack on Donald Trump, Bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency market saw a strong rally on Sunday.
Last Saturday, July 13, former US President Donald Trump miraculously survived an assassination attempt during his election campaign in Pennsylvania. A day later, David Bailey, organizer of the Bitcoin 2024 conference, announced that Trump would still attend the event later this month in Nashville, Tennessee.
In his post on social media platform X on Sunday, July 14, Bailey said he had just spoken with Trump’s team and that the former president was “in good spirits.” Bailey added that Trump was “excited to see you all in Nashville and give a speech that will be heard around the world.”
The former president had promised to speak at the conference earlier in the week, before the assassination attempt. The event runs from July 25 to 27, with Trump scheduled to speak on July 27.
Following the failed attack on Donald Trump, Bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency market saw a strong rally on Sunday. As a result, cryptocurrency market players have expressed strong enthusiasm for the market to rise.
