Their work focuses on Digital Product Passports and Intellectual Property Rights, supported by the upcoming Chromia mainnet launch on July 16.

ChromaWay is engaging with clients more and more in the battery and textile industries, as they move towards commercialization. The 2027 Ecodesign legislation is a catalyst for this transition. This month, ChromaWay and RBN Eco will meet with the European Blockchain Association.

Chromia, supported by Binance, Animoca, NGC, and others, raised $12 million in 2019 through private sales and a public IEO. It offers solutions for various use cases, including DePIN, RWA, NFTs, and gaming. Chromia’s relational blockchain is a new type of blockchain that records structured data in linked relational tables.

Chromia’s founders, Alex, Or, and Henrik, have been industry pioneers. They co-founded one of the first Bitcoin wallets and contributed to the colored coins whitepaper with Vitalik Buterin.

RBN Eco’s Chromia-based Nebula Architecture allows EU citizens, organizations, and businesses to use blockchain with reliability, security, and environmental responsibility.

The bottom line

ChromaWay’s ongoing collaboration with the EU highlights how important blockchain technology is in sustainability efforts. With Chromia’s relational blockchain, ChromaWay will drive innovation in digital product management and intellectual property, while adopting Web3 solutions in various sectors.
