Is it reliable to trade based on market sense?

Market sense is more like a kind of metaphysics. We cannot say that it does not exist, but it is indeed impossible to describe it objectively. Many famous people in the trading world in history do have the saying of market sense.

To trade based on market sense, you must at least follow the market and your own trading system for a long time, just like the 10,000-hour rule. If you do the same thing for 10,000 hours, you will find some rules no matter what, and you will also form muscle memory, which will be much better than newcomers.

But don't trust your market sense too much, because market sense is a subjective judgment after all. Sometimes you will make mistakes because of your emotions. If you see that the market is going in the opposite direction, you will still turn a blind eye, which may lead to uncontrollable losses. This also requires our comprehensive qualities, such as emotional control ability, self-discipline, etc.

If you think you are not a very self-disciplined person, or a person with stable emotions, you still have to establish your own objective trading rules, which are more reliable than market sense.
