The cryptocurrency is currently trading at $62,186 with a market cap of $1.224 trillion, up 4.67% in the past 24 hours.
In early Asian trading hours, Bitcoin rose 2.28%,
achieving its fourth consecutive positive candle and challenging its 50-day moving average.
$44.5 million worth of short positions in Bitcoin were liquidated across all exchanges in the past 24 hours.
