There are three things I won't open a contract for:

If it goes up, I won't open it. Because it goes up for a month and then goes down in a few minutes, and then all the bad news will come once I open a long position.

If it goes down, I won't open it. Because shorting can only make twice as much money at most, and then all the good news will come once I open a short position.

If it goes sideways, I won't open it. Because the market has different views, and if I open it, I will use stop loss back and forth.
