Tether, the largest stablecoin issuer, has announced that it will no longer support USDT and EURT on several blockchain networks as of September 1, 2025. Networks that will no longer support stablecoins include Omni, Kusama, SLP, EOS and Algorand. 🚫

Tether will freeze all remaining USDT and EURT on these networks on the same day, advising users to redeem their assets "as soon as possible."

The decision is part of the company's commitment to "maximize security and efficiency while supporting innovation in the crypto space."

Meanwhile, Tether is facing problems in Europe due to the new MiCA regulatory framework, which has already led to the exclusion of USDT from several trading platforms.
