Viral Telegram game Notcoin, in partnership with DeFi platform 1inch and onchain attestation protocol Sign, announced the launch of Triangle, a new accelerator program to help developers build on the Telegram messaging platform and The Open Network (TON).

The initiative aims to bridge the gap between crypto and traditional technology by leveraging Telegram's 900 million active users to drive widespread adoption of crypto applications.

Triangle will provide participants with essential resources, guidance, and a community of experienced builders, focusing on areas such as TON infrastructure, decentralized finance (Defi), and consumer applications connecting Web2 and Web3. Advisors from Sign, 1inch and TON Foundation will provide their expertise.

Kirill Malev, partner at The Open Platform (TOP), emphasized that Triangle builds on the success of Notcoin, adding value and engagement to its user base. Telegram's vast user base and integrated crypto functionalities put Triangle well positioned to bring millions of people to Web3.

Notcoin, the game that pioneered the play-to-earn trend on Telegram, achieved remarkable success with its launch attracting 35 million players and subsequent games gaining audiences, notably Hamster Kombat has attracted 236 million users.

While Triangle isn't solely focused on games, it complements Notcoin's other initiatives, like the recently announced games-focused accelerator program in partnership with AI analytics firm Helika. Triangle will accept applications through August 10, and the six-week mentoring program will conclude with a demo day, allowing participants to present their progress to investors and partners.
