According to Odaily Planet Daily, Federal Reserve Chairman Powell did not see any signs of Biden's mental or cognitive decline during phone calls or talks with President Biden. The last time they talked was more than two years ago. Congressman Mike Lawler asked Powell if he had any private talks with Biden since the public meeting in May 2022. Powell responded that he had not met with Biden yet and had no plans to do so. He emphasized that it was not surprising that he had not met with the president recently because the Federal Reserve is an independent institution and Biden has always respected this.
