The footballer and star of the Argentine national team, Lionel #Messi , has surprised many in the last few hours, and on his official Instagram account he has shared a story promoting a #memecoin in #Solana , with the ticker $WATER.
So far you can see the story on Instagram showing the ticker and the official image/mascot of the Solana memecoin in a photograph with the image of the footballer.
It is unknown if this is a paid promotion or if the footballer's official account has been the victim of some #Hacker .
What is known is that the $WATER memecoin has fallen 90% from its #ATH and that a group of wallets currently has more than 45% of the total supply, according to Bubblemaps. Following this publication, the memecoin has risen more than 300%, according to Dexscreener
