ETF issuer Bitwise submitted the S-1 form for the Ethereum spot ETF before the U.S. Independence Day holiday. Bloomberg analysts believe that other issuers will gradually submit it later this week, and the Ethereum spot ETF will be available as soon as possible. Available next week.

UPDATE: We've got another amended S-1 from @BitwiseInvest for their#EthereumETF. Expect more from other issuers throughout the rest of the week. We're thinking these things could potentially list later next week or the week of the 15th at this point. pic.twitter.com/xqVlt9lSGy

Bitwise takes the lead in updating S-1

In this update, Bitwise added fee reductions for the first six months up to $500 million in AUM, although fees thereafter were not announced.

VanEck also added fee reductions to its Ethereum ETF last week, with fees set to 0.2% after the promotional period. Another, Franklin, reported 0.19%.

Bloomberg analyst: Approval could come as soon as next week

James Seyffart also said that because the S-1 form does not have a deadline, he is not confident in the predicted date of the Ethereum spot ETF listing date. The recently updated S-1 form did not change much, and he did not understand why SEC personnel spent so much time here.

Likewise, another Bloomberg analyst, Eric Balchunas, expressed confusion at how easy it would be for these ETFs to trade, given so little commentary. He speculated that it could be a "problem" issuer that slowed down the process, or just laziness or vacation during the summer. But all signs of this month's rollout still stand, with more details coming next week.

Bitwise continues to launch ads mocking traditional finance

Bitwise also continues to launch advertisements for the Ethereum spot ETF. This time the advertisement still features a dialogue between Big Finance, a symbol of traditional finance, and Ethereum, a young man wearing casual clothes. This time Big Finance put on a T-shirt that read "Blockchain", held a penguin doll in his hand, and asked Ethereum if he wanted to hang out and go to the moon together! But when Ethereum asked him if he really understood what it meant to go to the moon, Big Finance directly answered "I don't understand"! Again, mocking traditional finance.
