Golden Finance reported that Alexander Grieve, head of government relations at venture capital firm Paradigm, posted on social media that today, SEC Commissioner Mark Uyeda issued a statement on the registration rules for index-linked annuities and registered market value-adjusted annuities. In a footnote, he called for an update to the S-1 form to better accommodate the uniqueness of cryptocurrencies. This is the first time Uyeda has publicly called for a disclosure system tailored for crypto assets. If a different manager were to be in charge, the SEC would be a very different place.
