According to TechFlow, Lido has officially announced that its Community Staking Module (CSM) testnet is now live. CSM aims to enhance decentralized and democratized Ethereum staking, allowing any node operator to run a validation node using the Lido protocol. The testnet is divided into two phases: early adoption and open. The early adoption phase has begun and is expected to be open to all node operators in mid-July.
The Community Staking Module (CSM) is an initiative by Lido DAO to increase decentralization and democratize Ethereum staking by allowing any node operator (especially community stakers) to come in without permission and run a validator using the Lido protocol.
