The value of digital assets owned by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin exceeds $858 million, Arkham calculated. At the beginning of the year, the portfolio was valued at $550 million.

The majority of Buterin's wealth comes from his initial Ethereum allocation (245,000 ETH). It ranks 20th in the top holders of the second cryptocurrency by capitalization.
