According to PANews, Amber Japan Co., Ltd., which operates the cryptocurrency trading service "WhaleFin", changed its company name to S.BLOX Co., Ltd. on July 1, 2024. The company was acquired by a subsidiary of Singapore market maker Amber Group in February 2022, and was subsequently acquired by Quetta Web Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Group, in August 2023.
"WhaleFin" plans to be updated in the future, and plans to make the following improvements: 1. UI screen redesign; 2. New application release; 3. Supported currencies and expansion of functions. Earlier news, Sony Group has acquired Amber Japan, a Japanese crypto trading platform under Amber Group.
