According to foreign media "The Block", Xiao Yi, chairman and founder of Hong Kong-based blockchain gaming company Animoca Brands, pointed out that the company is considering returning to the IPO market next year.

Animoca Brands was founded in 2014 and initially focused on the development and distribution of mobile games. It was listed on the ASX in the past, but was delisted in 2020 due to scrutiny over its involvement in the cryptocurrency business.

The news that Animoca Brands plans to relist was first revealed by "The Information". The report pointed out that because Hong Kong and the Middle East have adopted friendly policies towards cryptocurrencies, they have been included as the first choice for public listing.

When Xiao Yi later confirmed the above news, he said: "Although there are many factors that may have an impact, we are confident in the listing. If it can be finally implemented, the time point is likely to be in the second half of 2025."

Animoca Brands' blockchain games include "The Sandbox", "Crazy Kings", etc., and its most recent financing was in 2022, when the company was valued at $5.9 billion.
