#BlockchainNews# The European Banking Authority is about to release a report on how to monitor stablecoin issuers. Large stablecoin issuers such as Tether and Circle may face strict supervision from the EU. The new regulations will take effect on June 30. These companies will need to obtain proper authorization to conduct business in the 27-country trade zone of the European Union. They will also be subject to strict restrictions on the number and value of transactions by the Crypto-Asset Market (MiCA) legislation. Robert Kopitsch, Secretary General of European Blockchain, said this could prevent some of the largest stablecoin issuers from operating in the European Union. What do you think?
