According to ChainCatcher, Coindesk reported that the Algorand Foundation announced the launch of a new tool, LiquidAuth, at the Decipher 2024 conference in Barcelona. The tool is positioned as a decentralized WalletConnect. As a decentralized, free-to-use, open-source, and chain-independent authentication tool, LiquidAuth uses established standards and protocols to authenticate peer-to-peer communications between wallets and applications, aiming to address the communication risks of centralized wallets such as WalletConnect and provide higher security and privacy for user interactions.
