Crypto exchanges wishing to operate legally in the country must obtain a license from the Capital Markets Board, Turkey's financial regulator. Illegal sites may face imprisonment.

💼🔍 Crypto providers will also be responsible for implementing and reporting measures such as confiscation and other law enforcement actions. They must ensure that customer funds transfers are accessible and traceable to law enforcement.
