According to PANews, Jupiter co-founder Meow has recently called for the adoption of a Player Helps Player (PPP) model in the cryptocurrency community to ensure long-term growth. The PPP model is contrasted with the Player Versus Player (PVP) model, which is currently prevalent in the industry.
In a PVP community, the last player to enter is seen as a 'window' for others to profit. This model is easy to form as all members agree to attract more people to buy the tokens they hold, thereby becoming wealthier. However, this model is seen as a finite game with a clear endpoint, where the last person to buy in is the loser.
On the other hand, a PPP community aims to benefit the last player to enter. The formation of such a community is challenging as the focus is not on attracting others to join and then abandoning them, but on having more allies to build a common long-term future.
Meow believes that the future of cryptocurrency is definitely PPP, as even if 99.999% of new 'communities' are PVP, those that continue to thrive are definitely PPP. Communities like BTC, ETH, and SOL are dedicated to helping every new person entering the network benefit, rather than treating them as a bunch of 'bag holders'.
The PPP model will ultimately triumph because it combines a common vision with the essence of profit, balances idealism with pragmatism, and is the only way for the crypto industry to develop, as no community can survive internal cannibalism.
However, cryptocurrencies are currently notorious as a PVP industry, with the public often viewing them as greedy speculators creating and promoting 'magical' internet currencies to make others hold the bag. The core problem with this view is that even the most serious crypto builders often think it has some truth.
Meow suggests that the solution is to actively reject PVP communities and invest time, energy, and expertise in cultivating real relationships and professional knowledge in PPP communities, rather than engaging in short-term 'dog-eat-dog' tactics in PVP communities. If everyone 'cannibalizes' each other instead of 'nurturing' each other, there will soon be no one left to 'devour'.
The crypto field may be an industry with no restrictions on choice, where individuals can choose any type of game mode and any community. However, Meow recommends choosing the PPP model.
