According to Odaily Planet Daily, US President-elect Trump announced the latest nominations for three positions in the new administration, among which former Fox News senior contributor Tammy Bruce will serve as State Department spokesperson.

Since winning the US presidential election in November 2024, Trump has announced his cabinet nominees, and the list of key positions has been released. The next step is for this long list to be confirmed by the Senate.

The U.S. Constitution stipulates that the president's appointment of senior government officials, ambassadors abroad and other senior officials must be approved by the Senate. As Trump is about to start his second term as president, the appointment of more than 1,300 officials will require Senate approval.
