According to PANews, Bitcoin advocate Dennis Porter revealed that Swiss legislator Samuel Kullmann is pushing for Bitcoin to be included in the Swiss Constitution. The plan requires collecting 100,000 signatures within 18 months to force state parliaments to vote on Bitcoin as part of the constitution.

Although the proposal faces challenges, if it successfully collects enough signatures, it will prompt all cantonal parliamentarians to learn more about Bitcoin. Previously, the Swiss federal government has begun reviewing Bitcoin-related referendum proposals.
