Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I get my account verified on the Binance website?

You can access the Identity Verification from [Profile] - [Identification], or click [Verify] / [Get verified] from the homepage banners. You can check your current verification level on the page, which determines the trading limit of your Binance account. To increase your limit, please complete the respective Identity Verification level.

Identity Verification or Know Your Customer (KYC) standards are designed to protect your account against fraud, corruption, money laundering, and terrorist financing.

All new users are required to complete [Verified] to access Binance products and service offerings, including cryptocurrency deposits and trades.

Existing users who haven’t completed [Verified] verification will have their account permissions temporarily changed to “Withdraw Only,” with services limited to fund withdrawal, order cancelation, position close, and redemption.

Based on your region or selected payment channels, you may need to increase your identity verification level to improve your account security. For more details, please refer to Why Do I Need to Complete Identity Verification.

As a resident of India, how can I get my Binance account verified?

Via website

1. Log in to your personal Binance account and hover over the profile icon. Go to [Account] - [Identification].

Alternatively, click [Verify Now] directly on the homepage when it appears.

2. Click [Get Verified].

3. Select your country of residence. Please ensure that your country of residence is consistent in your ID documents.

4. Select your nationality and click [Continue].

Please make sure that all the information entered is consistent with your ID documents. You will not be able to change the information once confirmed.

5. Verify your identity via Digilocker or Aadhar OTP (recommended), or directly upload an official ID document (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Drivers License, or Passport). If you opt for Digilocker or Aadhar OTP, then it will not be required to upload ID documents or conduct face verification.

To use Digilocker: Link your DigiLocker account and provide your consent to share your Aadhar Card and PAN Verification Record for KYC purposes.

To use Aadhar OTP: Enter your Aadhar number and verify the same using the OTP received on your Aadhar linked phone number and email address. Then click [Continue].

Official document upload with Liveness Check: Choose to directly upload any of your official ID documents (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Drivers License, or Passport). Your photos should clearly show the full ID document. For example, if you are using an ID card, you have to take photos of the front and back of your ID card.

You’ll need to complete a liveness check. Follow the instructions to verify.

If you wish to complete the liveness check using your mobile phone, choose the option and scan the QR code to proceed.

6. Provide your PAN details. This last step is applicable if you have opted for DigiLocker with consent to provide only Aadhar details, or Aadhar OTP, or direct ID document upload followed by a liveness check. This step will not be required if you opt for DigiLocker and provide consent to share PAN (along with Aadhar).

7. Binance will review your data in a timely manner. Once your application has been verified, we will send you an email notification. Please do not refresh your browser during the process.

You may attempt to complete the identity verification process more than once if the first attempt is not successful. In some cases, if the application is denied several times, you may have to wait 24 hours to try again.
