A new study reveals that $2.2 billion (£1.76 billion) worth of cryptocurrencies has been stolen this year, with North Korean hackers responsible for over half of that amount.
According to research firm Chainalysis, hackers linked to North Korea have stolen $1.3 billion in digital currencies, more than twice the amount they took last year.
The report suggests that some of these thefts involve North Korean hackers disguising themselves as remote IT workers to infiltrate cryptocurrency and technology firms. #Btcnextmove
