Technical analysis in the crypto market doesn't work at all.
I will try to explain why :)
Technical analysis is an attempt to predict future prices based on history.
In the stock market, these lines that people try to draw on charts work with great difficulty because the stock market has been around for decades and has experienced crashes, surges, black swans, wars, and anything you can think of. Because of this, there is a rough understanding of how and when the market will react to certain events.

I want to remind you that a bull market is just like a bear market. In a bull market, local pumps happen more often, alt seasons are more global, and pullbacks are weaker. In a bear market, local pumps happen less frequently, alt seasons are weak, and sell-offs are prolonged.

BUT local swings are not canceled, at every stage local swings are mandatory, this is the market; without them, there would be not 90% of those who lose and 10% of those who earn, but the other way around.

Prologue

If you open 90 percent of chats and look at a bunch of memes, you can identify a pattern and find one common situation:

"If I bought - the coin falls, if I sold - the coin rises." This meme is shared among important crypto enthusiasts, and such a situation is described to each other by 90 percent of market participants. Is this a global bitcoin conspiracy with altcoins? 😀 No. This is a perception error caused by improper emotional handling.

Domination, capitalization and other smart words that few people think about and even fewer understand, but everyone loves to shout them out

These are all just numbers, nothing more.

Capitalization is the value of a coin multiplied by its emission (number of coins), Bitcoin dominance is the ratio of Bitcoin capitalization to the total market capitalization.

I want to remind you once again that in order not to swing on emotional swings, you need to stick to a plan and not make bets and try to guess ))

Ahead in all the crypto chats are two clownish narratives: "Well, now everyone will be shaved off and we will go down, we were deceived" and "Well, now it's definitely a reversal, we're flying to the moon"

When to sell the portfolio?

There is no reason in the market that could force one to sell the entire portfolio in one day.

Many completely misinterpret the situation, believing that there is some imaginary single day, week, or month when one needs to buy, and there is some day, week, or month when everything needs to be sold. This is a delusion. There is a GLOBAL: accumulation stage (bear market) — we build our position, distribution stage (end of the bull market) — we sell our position. This is true, BUT this is global. Locally, however, the portfolio consists of projects, each of which has an interest zone for buying and an interest zone for selling. These interest zones are always established individually, and although mainly the interest zones for buying are in the accumulation market stage, and the interest zones for selling are in the distribution stage, this is not a rule.

When to withdraw your investment?

I could end it right here, but I hear and read too much around me “I’ll take it at x10”, “I’ll take it when the price is 10, 100, 200” - NO, you can’t do that.

Time moves forward, everything changes in the crypto market, the crypto market is young, so changes are especially noticeable there, crypto has only recently begun to be accepted and it has begun to enter the masses, back in 2014-2017, its users were geeks, enthusiasts, far-sighted investors, now everyone has heard of crypto and a huge percentage of the population is just starting to use it, the market is only going to be regulated, there are still many changes ahead. This introduction was necessary so that my message would be clearer, there are projects on which a fortune has already been made, such projects as Solana, Dot, Avax, Litecoin and many more old-timers of the market, early investors, enthusiasts, and everyone I listed above bought them at prices tens or even hundreds of times cheaper than now. Do they have a future? Most of them don't, the ceiling of most of them is x2-x3 in the midst of a bull market, there is no point in investing in them, a long wait to get a small increase by crypto standards is not what we all gathered here for. A couple of years ago, people analyzed them, discussed them, took risks, bought them and got their profit, then the risk was justified (crypto is always a risk), now the risk is not justified.The tale that this is a fierce fundamental should remain in the minds of hamsters who are far from understanding the market or those for whom x2 after several years of waiting is the ultimate dream. At the moment, we need to analyze new, promising projects that still have everything ahead of them, into which large money is poured, into which large funds are just about to enter, and not those projects that these funds and private investors are leaving, slightly making the weather with news in order to sell to hamsters at a higher price. Analytics have changed, technologies have changed, speeds have increased and many other changes have occurred. We need to try to repeat the success of previous market participants who once earned on Solana, Dota, Avax, but not repeat the purchases that they made.

There is one extremely important point that I often wrote about in passing, implying that it was obvious, but now I decided to highlight this important point.
