The superchain expansion of Velodrome will launch on Ink in early 2025.

As the liquidity hub of the superchain, Velodrome will play a key role in Ink's future.✍️

Introducing Ink: A DeFi-first Layer 2 launched by Kraken that achieved 1-second block times on its first day, with plans for sub-second blocks in the future and seamless interoperability within the superchain. Aimed at scaling Ethereum and enhancing the accessibility of DeFi.

The superchain is a rapidly growing network of L2 chains that will share governance, bridging, upgrades, and other functionalities.

Velodrome will serve as the primary MetaDEX, acting as a one-stop service center for liquidity needs, supporting the Ink ecosystem.

To guide the issuance of key trading pairs and kickstart the ecosystem, @inkonchain has purchased and locked 2.5 million veVELO.

Additionally, in the first year, $1.4 million in incentives will be allocated to continuously bring liquidity to Velodrome for Ink.
