Odaily Planet Daily News Singapore-based Web3 developer OtherWorld today announced the launch of a beta version of an NFT platform based on the popular Korean online novel and webtoon Solo Leveling. OtherWorld is using a custom Layer 1 network built on Avalanche, which the company said will feature gas-free NFT transactions. OtherWorld said the platform will be maintained in preparation for the introduction of more webtoons and Korean pop music IPs into the Web3 space in the future. Players on the platform can have their characters follow the original story of Solo Leveling and level up by defeating monsters and collecting cards. Users with premium monster cards will receive various rewards, including the PFP (profile picture) NFT of the protagonist of Solo Leveling. (TheBlock)
