Odaily Planet Daily News Ethereum's circulating supply has now been rising steadily for nearly 72 consecutive days, adding nearly 50,000 ETH (about $168.7 million) since mid-April, and is currently in the longest period of inflation to date. Since the merger in September 2022, Ethereum has only been in a state of inflation for a long time in a few cases, the longest being 40 days shortly after the hard fork, and 30 days at the end of last year. In addition, Ethereum has destroyed a large amount of supply since the merger, although most of it was before blobs. In total, 1.71 million ETH (about $5.8 billion) has been destroyed and 1.36 million ETH (about $4.46 billion) has been issued, resulting in a total supply reduction of 346,000 ETH (about $1.17 billion).
