PANews reported on June 25 that according to The Block, ZKsync launched the "elastic chain" architecture as part of the ZKsync 3.0 roadmap. This upgrade transforms ZKsync from a single zero-knowledge (ZK) Rollup chain to multiple interoperable ZK chain networks, aiming to enhance connectivity through improved cross-chain interoperability and a unified user experience. The project plans to run more than 20 chains on the mainnet by the end of 2024, developed using the ZK Stack software package to simplify users' multi-chain operation experience.
