According to TechFlow, venture capital firm Gatreon Ventures announced the launch of a $1 million Web3 fund, which will focus on supporting early-stage startups that are building next-generation Web3 technologies. Gatreon Ventures will help these startups bridge the gap between traditional finance and decentralized networks by providing funding, guidance, strategic advice, and connections to partner and investor networks.
The new fund’s investment areas will include real world assets (RWA), decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFT), decentralized applications (dApps) and Meme coins.
