[The Polkadot community thrives due to active governance and forum development]
This month, Polkadot’s DOT holders and community once again demonstrated their enthusiasm for OpenGov. OpenGov is a platform that allows everyone to participate in and influence Polkadot governance. The latest statistics show that engagement and community activity on the platform are very high.
In May, Polkadot had 1,595 unique voters who had voted at least once. The community held a total of 91 referendums, of which 56 passed, 22 failed, and 11 were incomplete due to time constraints. The day before the Polkadot Decoded event, on July 10, the Polkadot Technology Summit will be held in Brussels. Following the success of the previous summit, this summit aims to bring together important developers and stakeholders to discuss and influence the direction of the Polkadot ecosystem.
The Polkadot ecosystem recently sponsored Conor Daly to participate in the 108th Indy 500, further exposing DOT to a wider range of potential investors. According to previous CNF reports, the sponsorship, worth $2.1 million, will increase the visibility of the ecosystem and attract new users to the Polkadot network.
