Standard Chartered Bank is about to open a Bitcoin and Ethereum trading desk, marking the bank as one of the first global banks to enter the field of spot cryptocurrency trading.
The new trading department will be operated by the London headquarters as part of the bank's foreign exchange trading department and will begin formal operations soon.
