Famous rapper Curtis James Jackson III, better known as "50 Cent", said his X (formerly Twitter) account and website were hacked, leading to the promotion of a fraudulent cryptocurrency token that defrauded victims out of $300 million. 🕵️‍♂️

Fraudsters created a new crypto token, "GUNIT", inflated its price using Jackson's large following on X (approximately 12.9 million subscribers) to attract more investors, then devalued it, causing the token price to drop to $0.00016.

On June 21, Jackson informed his 32.8 million Instagram followers that his X account and website had been hacked and a significant amount of money had already been stolen from the project.
