Golden Finance reported that modular blockchain Particle Network raised $15 million in Series A funding, with Spartan Group and Gumi Cryptos Capital co-leading the round, and SevenX Ventures, Morningstar Ventures, Flow Traders, HashKey Capital and others participating. Particle Network is currently in the first phase of the testnet, and is said to have registered about 1.3 million general accounts and more than 114 million transactions. The second phase of the Particle Network testnet is expected to be launched this week, and the mainnet is scheduled to be launched in the third quarter of this year. The Particle token PARTI will also be launched at the same time as the mainnet. With the new round of financing in place, Particle hopes to expand the team size from the current 30-plus to more than 40 people.
