According to TechFlow, the NEAR Foundation announced the first six artificial intelligence teams selected for the NEAR Horizon AI incubation program. These teams will build basic models, model training, and developer tools for the intersection of AI x Web3, supporting scalable, efficient, and secure user-owned AI. The following are the first six projects of the NEAR AI x HZN incubation program:

1. Mizu: Working to build the first synthetic open data layer, aiming to foster an open, collaborative data ecosystem among AI developers.

2. Pond: Develops basic cryptographic models using graph neural networks (GNNs) to analyze on-chain data and predict future behavior.

3. Nevermined: Provides a strong payment infrastructure for AI businesses and facilitates transactions for AI developers.

4. Hyperbolic: Provides open access to AI cloud, including GPU market and AI inference services.

5. Ringfence: Helps creators and artists monetize their work while maintaining ownership.

6. Exabits: Provides GPU computing in a data center environment, providing the necessary physical and technical conditions for serious AI training, inference, and fine-tuning.
