Laser Digital Limited, the cryptocurrency subsidiary of Japan's Nomura Holdings, has obtained a brokerage license in Abu Dhabi to provide brokerage transactions, asset and fund management services for traditional and digital assets in the region. The company said it chose Abu Dhabi as the destination for its expansion plan because of the local innovation-friendly cryptocurrency regulatory environment. Abu Dhabi is the capital and largest emirate of the UAE. It is understood that the Abu Dhabi Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) approved the company's Financial Services License (FSP) application, which means that it has completed a comprehensive licensing process in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).
