PANews June 19 news, according to Cointelegraph, nearly a week after Terraform Labs reached a settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), a new discovery of a court document in April has once again sparked controversy around this failed encryption project. According to Montenegrin media Vijesti, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic, who took office in October last year, invested $75,000 in Singapore-based Terraform Labs in April 2018 to purchase 750,000 Luna coins. Spajic was one of the company's early investors in the first few days of its establishment. Terraform Labs LTD was registered in Singapore on April 23, 2018.

The discovery was revealed in a court document filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Before the court documents were made public, the Montenegrin Prime Minister had always claimed that he had never personally invested in the failed cryptocurrency project; instead, Das Capital SG, the Singaporean company where he worked from 2017 to 2020, invested in Terraform Labs. However, the SEC's court documents listed him as number 16 on the list of investors and showed that he was one of the company's earliest investors, signing a contract with Terraform on April 17, 2018.

Earlier in May, it was reported that Do Kwon had met with the Prime Minister of Montenegro before his arrest, and the two may have reached a deal.
