Odaily Planet Daily News: Steven Steele, marketing director of the TRUMP token, said that when the team applied to the U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Kraken to list the token in mid-May, they never received a response. A Kraken spokesperson declined to comment. But Kraken recently listed the Meme coins TREMP and BODEN. Steele said: "Those exchanges that refused to list TRUMP for 'political reasons' showed embarrassing cowardice and turned a deaf ear to the current Meme coin trends and customer needs." Other exchanges told the TRUMP team that the token was "too political" and not suitable for listing. Screenshots show that a representative of the ByBit listing team initially provided a trading volume target as a prerequisite for listing the token on the exchange. But later, the representative said that the exchange management rejected the listing application because it could bring potential political risks. A ByBit spokesperson declined to comment publicly. OKX also made a similar response to the TRUMP team. The screenshot shows that a member of the OKX coin listing team said that political meme coins are too sensitive to be listed. The OKX spokesperson also declined to comment publicly. The TRUMP team has not yet applied to be listed on HTX, which is the only mainstream exchange other than Kraken to list TREMP. A spokesperson for HTX said that the possibility of listing TRUMP is not ruled out. (CoinDesk)
