[Breaking News] Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump promised to "end Joe Biden's war on cryptocurrency" at a rally in Racine, Wisconsin on June 18, and said his goal is to "ensure that the future of cryptocurrency and the future of Bitcoin will be made in the United States." Trump warned that if the United States does not act, other countries will seize the opportunity. In addition, Trump's campaign has challenged Biden's economic policies outside of cryptocurrency in other ways. Trump insisted that his crypto strategy will "create opportunities for young people."

Trump has made similar statements before. On May 8, he called for the support of the cryptocurrency community, on June 7, he promised to end the "Biden-Gensler crusade against cryptocurrency", and on June 12, he expressed his intention to let the United States mine all remaining Bitcoin.

With Trump's more outspoken support for the cryptocurrency industry, Biden's rivals may change their harsh stance on the industry. Biden's campaign team is reportedly seeking input from members of the cryptocurrency industry to take an outreach approach.
