David Hirsh, former head of the Cryptocurrency and Networks Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), has resigned from his position. In his LinkedIn post, Hirsh called securities trading a "team sport" and thanked his SEC colleagues for their cooperation and collective efforts to achieve the common goal. Hirsh worked at the SEC for nearly nine years, heading the department that dealt with crypto exchanges and decentralized finance (defi) projects.
