According to TechFlow, Holograph Protocol was temporarily blocked after a former contractor exploited a vulnerability to mint an additional 1 billion HLG tokens on Mantle. The team is working to address the impact of this vulnerability and is working with security experts to prevent similar incidents from happening again. Malicious actors have had their accounts frozen on multiple exchanges, and at least 200 million of the additional 1 billion HLG minted have been frozen. At the same time, the exchange has temporarily stopped all deposit and withdrawal transactions of HLG tokens. A third-party audit will be conducted next, and the multi-chain tokenization infrastructure and applications will continue to be promoted. Earlier news said that the full-chain NFT protocol Holograph contract was attacked, and hackers were able to illegally mint 1 billion HLG tokens.
