Odaily Planet Daily News After the UwU Lend attacker failed to return the funds, the protocol is taking another step to find the hacker. According to the Input Data Message (IDM) on Ethereum, UwU Lend has set up a $5 million ETH bounty for the "first person to identify and find" the exploiter, adding that "no funds or fees are required to be recovered." The protocol had previously discussed setting up a bounty directly with the exploiter. The attacker can keep 20% of what they stole as long as they return 80%. If the exploiter complies, the protocol said it will not pursue the matter further or involve law enforcement in the matter. The attacker must return the funds by 1 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday. But in a message sent to the attacker on Thursday, UwU Lend wrote that "the repayment deadline for your stolen funds has expired."
