[Notcoin surges 16% as new Binance trading pair launches]
Notcoin, a click-and-click game based on Telegram, saw its price surge by 16% as its native token NOT launched a new trading pair on Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange.
Notcoin’s recent gains come as Binance announced the expansion of trading options for its NOT token, adding a new trading pair for NOT against the Brazilian Real (NOT/BRL), opening the door for Brazilian traders. Users can trade this trading pair starting from 14:00 UTC today.
Notcoin’s journey begins in early 2024 with a unique social click game running on Telegram. In the game, players accumulate the in-game Notcoin currency by clicking on virtual coins. NOT token is the core of the Notcoin ecosystem and aims to be a community-centered cryptocurrency that encourages users to participate in different project activities.
Participants can discover and use new Web3 products and services, earning NOT tokens from them. They can also participate in various games on the Notcoin platform to earn additional NOT rewards. The number of NOT tokens a user can earn is tied to their game level, with the higher the level, the larger the reward pool. Players can level up by staking Notcoin, and their monthly staking amount determines their ranking. Platinum level is the highest achievable level and provides the most NOT token rewards.
In May this year, Notcoin held its Token Generation Event (TGE), launching the NOT token on several top crypto exchanges such as OKX and Binance. The launch quickly propelled Notcoin into the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.
Notcoin recently donated over 1 billion NOT tokens worth $6.8 million to Telegram and its founder Pavel Durov. Durov pledged to hold the tokens until their market cap reaches $680 million and plans to use the funds to expand Telegram’s server capacity.
Notcoin’s price is surging again as the global cryptocurrency market turns green again, with the total market capitalization reaching $2.46 trillion. Meanwhile, Bitcoin has also gained slightly over the past 24 hours and is currently hovering around $67,614.
