The Wall Street Journal published an exclusive report on Tuesday, revealing Elon Musk's affair at his rocket company SpaceX. The report said Musk had sex with a SpaceX employee, a former intern, and asked another woman to give birth to a child for him.
Musk, who was more than 20 years older than her, tried to restart their relationship, but was rejected by her. The two maintained a close relationship as she struggled to adapt to her new job. Musk often texted her and invited her to his mansion in Los Angeles at night several times. Sometimes she accepted his invitation, but friends said she told them at the time that Musk's behavior made her job more difficult.
She eventually left Musk's executive team, according to her friends and people familiar with her work at SpaceX. The woman left SpaceX in 2019.

Among them, a SpaceX flight attendant said that in 2016, Musk exposed himself to her and offered to buy her a horse in exchange for sex. This incident has been reported before.
As of press time, Musk has not commented on this. Shotwell responded that the Journal's report gave a "completely misleading description" of the work environment at SpaceX and that the report did not reflect the culture of SpaceX. She also said that SpaceX would investigate all harassment complaints and did not respond appropriately.
