On May 28, the Southern District Court of New York (USA) sentenced Ryan Salame to 7.5 years in prison. At the same time, Ryan must endure an additional 3 years of probation and is obligated to repay more than 6 million USD in confiscation money and 5 million USD in compensation, according to the US Department of Justice.

Salame pleaded guilty to crimes charged by US authorities, including conspiring to make illegal political donations and operating an unlicensed money transfer business. Ryan Salame used to hold the position of co-CEO of FTX Digital Markets and was the person who connected former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried with American tycoons.
