According to TechFlow, shares of Tokyo-listed investment company Metaplanet Inc. rose 9.88% on Tuesday after the company announced it had purchased an additional 250 million yen ($1.58 million) worth of Bitcoin.
According to a statement disclosed on June 11, Metaplanet purchased 23.351 BTC, bringing its total Bitcoin holdings to over 141.07 BTC ($9.54 million). The company made two Bitcoin acquisitions on April 23 and May 10.
