According to ChainCatcher, Argentina’s securities regulator (CNV) announced the official launch of Argentina’s Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) Registry, allowing nearly 100 companies and individuals to apply for authorization to provide digital asset-related services in the country. Given that regulators only allow registered entities to legally operate in the Argentine jurisdiction, the registry will remain open for more companies to submit applications.

CNV has authorized 35 different companies, of which four foreign exchange exchanges are included in the first group.
