The Runes protocol was launched in April 2024. Both the Ordinals protocol and the Runes protocol were developed by Casey Rodarmor. Runes is built for degens and memecoins, but the protocol is simple, efficient, and secure. It is a legitimate competitor to Taproot Assets and RGB.
